This is an arts complex I designed for the Spring 2011 taught by Drura Parrish and Aaron Betsky, director of the Cincinnati Art Museum. All in all I decided to do a building that combined the Art Museum, Music Hall, and Playhouse into one massive structure located at the riverfront in a highly vulnerable location. The structure acts as a support for the proposed Brent Spence Bridge that would span across to Ky. I called it a necessary luxury, making a case for an integration between culture and state, however minimizing programmatic friction as much as possible.
