I'm thinking about a new daily post I can do which involves
the retelling of my creepiest move of the day, or those I witness.
Here is one from my flight to Los Angeles:
While on my flight I noticed a man and woman talking in front of me,
so naturally I listened in. The man started talking about his music
career which ended due to a spinal cord injury. He went on for about
ten minutes about the event which boiled down to a four hundred
pound object falling on him. At each peak of the story he
waved his handmade walking stick in the air. The lady carefully listened to every
word, trying to empathize with him. He ended the story, and after
a few moments of silence he said in a quiet voice:
"My body is a prison."
She didn't say anything else for the rest of the trip, he said very little.
I sat in shock.
